Lamborghini’s flagship V12 models have cemented the brand’s legacy for decades, adorning posters on bedroom walls and delivering an unmatched presence on the street. Beginning with the Miura, then the unmistakable Countach, and for the last decade the Aventador, Lamborghini’s V12s have continued to emphasize pure emotion and spectacle above all else.



Upon its 2018 introduction, the Aventador SVJ delivered extremes in every sense. The V12 supplied a range-topping 770 horsepower, and Lamborghini’s advanced “ALA” aerodynamics system translated that into maximum performance–evidenced by a production car lap record on the Nürburgring. But even with all the advancements over the Aventador’s production run, the V12 was always at the heart of it.



The dynamic wail of the 6.5L V12 was always consistent regardless of the variation of Aventador and it was our goal to embrace and amplify it–before Lamborghini’s traditional V12 is no more. The Ultimae will be the swansong for the Aventador and its pure, unadulterated V12, and we’ve set out to make it a spectacular finale.
