Softronic provides Porsche performance software ECU files for engine conversion projects, such as swapping a Porsche 996 non-DFI 3.4 or 3.6 liter engine into a 986 Boxster. 1997-1999 Boxster 2.5 liter (3.4 liter conversion only) 2000-2004 Boxster all models( 2000-2002 3.4 or 2003-2004 3.6 liter) This software tuning results in these performance gains: Model Base BHP Base Torque Tuned BHP Tuned Torque 3.4 liter Engine Swap 300 258 322 271 3.6 liter Engine Swap 320 273 340 286 *This product for the 1997-1999 Boxster requires removal of the ECU and shipping to Softronic for changes, so no cable or software is included. *A OBD2 cable is included for the 2000-2004 Boxster conversions as they will be flashed by the OBD2 port.
