Weight of NHP Mufflers (L+R) = 30 lbs Weight of OEM Porsche Mufflers (L+R)= 34 lbs Although they do sound better then the factory exhaust mufflers we strongly recommend to match these NHP Mufflers with our 200 C.P.S.I Catalytic Converters, this will give you the best sound and performance. In our opinion on the 997 Mufflers alone are not sufficient for a major sound improvement. IMPORTANT NOTEFor those of you with regular C2/C4 Carrera (Non-S Models) you must purchase our exhaust tips or use Carrera S OEM Tips, the outlet piping diameter on the mufflers is designed for larger diameter tips like the S Models. For those of you who have PSE you also need to purchase tips or use regular Carrera S tips, the OEM tips that come with PSE have two inlets they cannot be used.
