Sparco Prime RF-9W Racing Helmet

The Prime RF-9W Supercarbon helmet is designed for the FIA 8860-2010 type approval which is required in Formula One, World Rally Championship and Indy Car to name a few series. This is one of the highest safety ratings required for helmets. The Prime RF-9W uses aerospace pre-impregnated carbon fiber for the shell. The shell also has a reinforced by a layer of carbon-kevlar. Thanks to this manufacturing technology, the Prime RF-9W Supercarbon is lightweight. The Prime RF-9W includes a wider eye opening that can be used for open wheel or closed cockpit driving. Multiple exterior vents increase circulation to a redesigned interior. The interior has channels which not only cool the driver, but has additional channels which route air towards the visor, which reduces the chance of visor fogging. The Prime RF-9W has removable, washable padding that can be repositioned for a comfortable fit. All interior seams have been removed from areas where greater pressure is exerted on the head. The Prime RF-9W has been designed to accommodate a drink tube and an intercom system. Available in sizes XS to XL (new size M/L). Prime RF-9W has Hans clips pre-installed.
